Offering distinctive Experiences through Workwise

The Bellevue Hotels & Resorts (BH&R) is a Filipino-owned company based in the Philippines which manages deluxe and standard class hotels in the country. Its first pair of properties is concentrated at the southern Metro Manila, particularly in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Its first full service deluxe class hotel, The Bellevue Manila, houses 456 rooms, two swimming pools, several restaurants, functions rooms and a grand ballroom.

Recognizing the exponential need for business accommodations in the city, BH&R opened its standard class hotel called, B Hotel, not too far from its maiden property. B Hotel, on the other hand, is a three-star boutique businessman’s hotel which features 156 rooms, a restaurant and a pastry shop.

One of the company’s goal is to give distinctive experiences to its client. For them to be able to do that, they need to invest on their people. In order to do that, they need replace their previous Human Resource Information System. According to Mr. Mark Castillo, Chief Information Officer of Bellevue Hotel Alabang, “Our previous HRIS system was pretty bad.  It wasn’t stable, there were no support and the worst part is, it takes them several months to resolve just a small problem.” They realized the need to find a replacement to this system.

 

With the referral of bayleaf hotel, HDI Systech’s client, they chose to get Workwise. When asked about what made them decide to get Workwise, Mr Castillo answered, “We surveyed from the different clients of HDI. Most of them are satisfied and happy with the service and system. The most important factor that contributed to our decision would be the payroll module of Workwise. We really like it. We think that it can really improve our payroll process. “

 

They hope that through Workwise they will be able to give good and distinctive experiences to their clients through having happy and satisfied employees. “We think Workwise can really help us promote a friendly work environment to our employees. The system has a big potential on changing how Human Resource should be.” as stated by Mr. Castillo. Remember, happy employees equals happy employees equals successful company.
